Dog Addiction developed and uses our own BehaviorBeats™ Technique. We believe in influencing pack behavior with music.

What does this mean? It means there is music on at all times-- and we pick and choose the genre to stimulate the pack’s behavior. They may be playing to The Hives or Michael Jackson and then napping to Bob Dylan or Sufjan Stevens.

What’s even better is if you go to the Serious Addicts Page-- you can see what we’re playing at this very moment (and you might even catch one of us dancing). We like to think of ourselves as a Rock and Roll Dog Center-- you might even notice that we are located in a former recording studio. That’s right, it’s very much a part of who we are, it’s what makes us different-- it’s what makes us the best.

Think we’re pulling your leg? We’re not...

In fact-- the Queen's University in Belfast, Northern Ireland, and the Rehoming Centre of the National Canine Defence League in Evesham, England conducted a study and found that not only do dogs react to music, they feel beats and rhythms and it causes the same reactions as it does for humans (relaxation, euphoria, etc). They also found that:

 It improves memory
 Helps learning
 Reduces stress
 And even alleviates depression!
