During the month of June and beyond - Dog Addiction in conjunction with Woodley and Bunny, will be donating all the hair and fur left behind after a haircut and grooming to Mission of Trust
This hair and fur will be used in the oil spill clean up in the Gulf of Mexico.

Basically... hair absorbs oil, which is why we use shampoo to wash it out and in essence "dry it out". Whenever there is an oil spill, shampoos or "detergents" are used (dishwashing soap, etc) to clean up the animals and so on. Mission of Trust found that hair (human and fur) absorbs the oil without the chemicals or waste that shampoo does- just as it absorbs oil in our everyday lives that we shampoo out. What’s even better is that hair and fur are biodegradable!
